Kraus-Anderson completes major expansion at Edina Galleria
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (August 2017) – Kraus-Anderson Construction Company (KA), one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general contractors and construction managers, has completed a major expansion of the east end of Galleria, one of Edina’s premier, luxury shopping centers.
Designed by Cuningham Group Architects, the 60,241-square-foot remodel includes new corridors and common areas, a porte-cochère entrance, and expansion for future retail shops and restaurants. The new expansion, most of which has been leased, includes CoV Restaurant and Bar, Barnes & Noble which includes a Barnes and Noble Kitchen, Design Within Reach, Starbucks, Soft Surroundings, Roe Wolfe and Big Island Swim.
In addition, other well-known national and international brands include David Yurman, Eileen Fisher, Louis Vuitton, kate spade new york, Tiffany & Co., Restoration Hardware, Tumi, Allen Edmonds and Chico’s. Galleria also features outstanding local stores such as Twill by Scott Dayton, Ampersand, Hammer Made, Melly, Fawbush’s, H.O.B.O., Pumpz & Co., Trail Mark, dugo and Scheherazade.
Some of the Galleria’s restaurants include Crave, Big Bowl, Good Earth, Pittsburgh Blue and Peoples Organic.
The Galleria is located at 69th St. and France Avenue and is owned by the Hines Global REIT, Inc.
