MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (May 18, 2017) — Kraus-Anderson Construction Company (KA), one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general contractors and construction managers, has been awarded a Governor’s Safety Award in recognition of excellence in injury prevention performance. Kraus-Anderson has one of the best safety records in the construction industry, a performance that for 26 consecutive years has earned the company the Governor’s Safety Award.
The award was presented today at the Governor’s Safety Awards luncheon, part of the Minnesota Safety & Health Conference and administered by the Minnesota Safety Council. The conference is the oldest and largest gathering of workplace safety and health professionals in the region.
“KA’s commitment to our people’s safety is reflected in the company’s exceptional record of receiving this award,” said Al Gerhardt, COO of Kraus-Anderson. “No other recognition gives us more gratification.”
