Bismarck Kraus-Anderson names Kevin Magstadt director of business development
BISMARCK, N.D. (November 2017) –Kraus-Anderson Construction Company (KA), one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general contractors and construction managers, has hired Kevin Magstadt as director of business development in the company’s Bismarck office. He will oversee new business development in North Dakota, South Dakota, Eastern Montana and Western Minnesota.
Magstadt is a highly regarded business leader in the greater North Dakota region. He comes to KA with more than 25 years of client, community and government relations experience, driving revenue through solid business development relationships and project management.
Most recently, Magstadt was a principal and regional manager of Wenck Associates in Mandan, where he served as a key member of its executive team managing regional strategic development, including construction projects primarily with the North Dakota Public Service Commission. Magstadt’s business partnerships also included the City of Mandan, City of Dickinson, McKenzie County, University of Mary, Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. and local construction entities.
Magstadt received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno, and his Masters in Management from the University of Mary, Bismarck. He is the chair-elect of the Bismarck-Mandan Development Association Board of Directors, past president and current member of the North Dakota Solid Waste and Recycling Association Board of Directors, current member of Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and past member of the Bismarck Renaissance Zone Committee and Burleigh County Planning and Zoning Commission. Magstadt holds professional registrations in North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana.
