Gas, food and milkshakes now available on Hwy. 169 between Hibbing and Virginia, MN
DULUTH, Minn. (April 2017) – Travelers driving on the 25-mile stretch of Hwy. 169 between Hibbing and Virginia, Minn. have long known there is no place to fill up, never mind get a milkshake. Not anymore.
The Duluth office of Kraus-Anderson Construction Company (KA) has completed construction of The Short Stop, a new gas station and convenience store in Buhl, Minn. The new facility is the only gas station and convenience store on Hwy. 169 between Virginia and Hibbing.
Owned by C&B Warehouse Distributing and designed by Architectural Consortium, LLC, the 4,950-square-foot gas station and convenience store – built under a lighted canopy — will feature four gas pumps and two refrigeration units of freezers and coolers, dry goods shelves, and a F’real milkshake machine.
