Kraus-Anderson to break ground April 21 on new Campus Center at University of Mary
BISMARCK, N.D. (April 2016) – Kraus-Anderson Construction Company, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general contractors and construction managers, has been selected to build a new 85,000-square-foot Campus Center at the University of Mary. The extensive $21.75 million project includes renovation and multiple additions to the existing Leach Fieldhouse.
A groundbreaking ceremony is set for 9:00 a.m., Thursday, April 21st on the west side of the McDowell Activity Center at the University of Mary located at 7500 University Dr, Bismarck, N.D.
The new Campus Center will include a state-of-the-art, 24/7 dining facility, and meeting and activity space for student organizations. The building also will feature a clinic, bank, campus bookstore, as well as a ballroom with seating for 600 people. Renovations to the McDowell Activity Center will include new locker rooms and public restrooms.
The Campus Center is expected to be completed August 2017.
