Kraus-Anderson completes 17,000-square-foot addition to Hutchinson Health in Hutchinson, Minn.
HUTCHINSON, Minn. (July 2020) – Kraus-Anderson has completed a $17.5 million addition to Hutchinson Health in Hutchinson, Minn., located about 60 miles west of Minneapolis.
The construction project has expanded the hospital’s footprint by more than 17,000 square feet and includes 18 new medical, surgical and intensive care patient rooms that are more spacious and include more patient amenities than the current rooms.
Wold Architects and Engineers designed the expansion. Construction, which also included a new central utility plant, began in April 2019.
Hutchinson Health is a HealthPartners facility that is located about 60 miles west of Minneapolis. It offers a wide range of care from clinic services and outpatient procedures to inpatient care. Hutchinson Health is classified as a Level 4 trauma center. It provides initial evaluation, stabilization, diagnostic capabilities, and can transfer patients to a higher level of care if needed.
