Kraus-Anderson completes renovation projects for Edina School District
EDINA, Minn. (August 2018) – Kraus-Anderson Construction Company (KA), one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general contractors and construction managers, has completed three renovation projects for the Edina School District in time for the beginning of the school year.
Creek Valley Elementary School and Highland Elementary School, 5505 Doncaster Way
The $5.6 million renovation projects included safety and security enhancements, extended flexible learning studios, media center remodeling and outdoor athletic improvements.
South View Middle School, 4725 South View Ln.
The $7.34 million, 257,358-square-foot interior renovation, included classrooms, media center, offices and entry, and major mechanical upgrades.
KA has a long history of serving as construction manager for the Edina School District dating back to 2003. Notable projects include Edina High School additions and major remodeling, new transportation building, updates at six elementary schools, and infrastructure mechanical and electrical work at Southview and Valley View Middle Schools.
