Kraus-Anderson to build new student housing at Vermilion Community College in Ely, Minn.
ELY, Minn. (March 2016) – The Bemidji office of Kraus-Anderson Construction Company (KA), one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general contractors and construction managers, has been selected to build a 26,000-square-foot student housing project at Vermilion Community College in Ely, Minn.
The $5.5 million, three-story Timber Ridge student housing is owned by Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MNSCU) at Vermilion Community College.
Designed by St. Paul-based Rafferty Rafferty Tollefson Lindeke Architects, the 12-unit will house 120 beds. Construction will begin this spring and is expected to be completed by the spring of 2017.
