Star Tribune names Kraus-Anderson a 2018 Top 150 Workplace
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (June 2018) – Kraus-Anderson has been named one of the Top 150 Workplaces in Minnesota by the Star Tribune. Kraus-Anderson was ranked 18th on the midsize company list.
Produced by the same team that compiles the 27-year-old Star Tribune 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from over 71,000 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations.
“The companies in the Star Tribune Top 150 Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota,” said Star Tribune Publisher Michael J. Klingensmith. “My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”
KA’s new metro headquarters building opened last fall in downtown Minneapolis, consolidating what was three KA office locations under one roof in a high-tech, collaborative work environment. Over 100 employees participated on committees to design and implement the building’s numerous amenities, including fitness center, KA University training center, patio and KAfé. The company provides numerous opportunities for professional development, community involvement, wellbeing, and teambuilding activities.
The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 150 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, formerly Workplace Dynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. Over 2,400 companies were invited to participate.
“We are so grateful to our amazing employees for all their dedication to making Kraus-Anderson a Top Workplace,” said Bruce Engelsma, Chairman of Kraus-Anderson Companies. “This recognition is truly a reflection of their hard work, values and priorities.”
