Bob Kennealy is the winner of the Kraus-Anderson Construction Company Mission/Vision Award for April 2015.
Bob is a carpenter foreman for the Minneapolis office. He was nominated by Bill Jarvis, Vice President at the Minneapolis office. His nomination reads:
“I nominate Bob Kennealy for a Mission Vision Award for his dedicated work at the Boston Scientific Maple Grove Campus.
KA’s longstanding relationship with Boston Scientific (BSC) began in 1996 and includes hundreds of successfully-completed projects of varied size and scope. Bob’s service on the BSC campus over the last 10 years has been instrumental in maintaining this important, long-term relationship.
No matter how large or small the project, Bob provides the direction to meet the quality and safety standards required by BSC. He shares this knowledge with the KA team and the subcontractors he works with.
The nature of BSC procedures requires Bob to implement BSC’s rigorous protocols for safety and quality. He is often called on to work in occupied, high traffic areas or controlled environments where he is adjacent to hazardous materials and areas requiring specific safety procedures. Bob ensures that the work is completed safely with the highest level of detail, maintaining the quality of BSC’s processes.
Along with his leadership abilities and attention to detail, Bob brings the can-do attitude to work each day; not knowing what new challenges he will be faced with. His dedication to completing projects within the time constraints presented is second to none. Many, many times he has given up his evenings, weekends and holidays to maintain the schedules requested by Boston Scientific.
Bob’s leadership, attitude and dedication are important reasons why KA has an enduring relationship with Boston Scientific.
