Bryce Larson Wins Mission/Vision Award
Bryce Larson is the winner of the Kraus-Anderson Construction Company Mission/Vision Award for Decmber 2015.
Bryce is a office assistant in the Circle Pines office. He was nominated by Bri Ana Vogel, Human Resources Coordinator in the Circle Pines office. His nomination reads:
“I would like to nominate Bryce Larson for the Mission/Vision award. There is simply not another human being on this planet like Bryce. He is talented in so many ways and brings joy with him to work every day. One thing I particularly love about Bryce is his ability to light up an entire room with his smile. When Bryce laughs, you can’t help but join in. There are not many people in this world that have this type of impact, but Bryce does.
You can find Bryce with a smile on his face as he passes by in the hallway on his way to fill the copiers and fax machines with paper. You can also find Bryce in the KACP kitchen stocking supplies while taking a moment to ask his coworkers how they spent their weekends and if they had a chance to catch the latest Vikings game or wrestling match.
Although Bryce enjoys catching up with his co-workers, he is a hard worker and he’s committed to getting his job done. Bryce does not like to leave a task incomplete. He takes ownership of his work and takes great pride in what he does.
Bryce has a passion to help those less fortunate than himself. Many years ago Bryce began collecting pop tabs in the KACP kitchen to support the Ronald McDonald House. He shared that he has a desire to make a difference for children battling life-threatening diseases and by collecting pop tabs, he can do his part to help make some else’s life a little brighter. Bryce has continued this tradition through the years and has delivered thousands of pop tabs to the Ronald McDonald organization as a result.
Another way that Bryce gets involved with his community is by participating in events through the Down Syndrome Association, such as Step Up for Down Syndrome. Bryce has co-captained the Kraus-Anderson team, “Team Bryce and Michelle” for the past 8 years. Bryce even helped deliver a keynote presentation at the Down Syndrome Association’s regional conference a few years back. He is proud to work for Kraus-Anderson and is a great representative of KA in the community, sharing the message that everyone has the ability to make a difference.
Bryce leaves a sometimes silent, but always positive impact on the world around him. These are simply some of the many examples of how Bryce does an outstanding job of building enduring relationships and strong communities. His dedication to integrity, commitment, teamwork, and valuing people make Bryce an exemplary employee who deserves recognition for his countless contributions.
