The KA Mission Vision Team Award for third quarter 2014 goes to the Duluth Airport Terminal project team of Mike Dosan, Steve Bergerson, Andy Towner, Deb Coffman and Patrick Gallagher.
The team was nominated by Jeff Iisakka, Director of Operations for the Duluth office, whose nomination reads:
“The next time you visit the Duluth International Airport you will witness the beauty and quality of the new, award-winning Duluth Airport Terminal building. Its successful completion was the culmination of talent and accountability of four special individuals on our KA Duluth team.The unwavering commitment and collaboration of Mike Dosan-Senior Project Manager, Steve Bergerson-Project Superintendent, Andy Towner-Project Manager, and Deb Coffman-Project Assistant was well received and greatly appreciated by numerous owner agencies and industry partners on the $76M project. None of these team members had ever completed a project of this scope or magnitude, but the sum of their expertise allowed them to complete one of the most successful projects in KA Duluth’s 15 year history. In addition, Patrick Gallagher –Senior Project Manager, played an integral role for several months prior to the grand opening to ensure a smooth transition between numerous entities and activities between the existing and new terminals.
