Greg Ryder is the winner of the Kraus-Anderson Construction Company Mission/Vision Award for February 2015.
Greg is an operator and works out of the yard in Circle Pines. He was nominated by Gary Skogman, project superintendent at the Circle Pines office. His nomination reads:
“I would like to nominate Greg Ryder for the Mission Vision Award. Greg’s efforts often go unnoticed with everything he brings and gives to Kraus-Anderson, the employees and clients.
Greg’s work ethic and motivation is exceptional. His ability to stay focused on the Yard’s numerous tasks along with coordinating the logistics of all the daily deliveries, returns, and multiple stops that it takes to meet the requests of the field and office is incredible, which is a direct tie-in to our core value of commitment. It is a difficult and challenging task. Not a day goes by without phone calls or emails with a “need it today” request, which sends Greg and the yard crew in a change of direction at a moment’s notice. Greg does this continually and effortlessly with a positive and can do attitude. This quality exemplifies our core value of teamwork and valuing people.
No matter what the request, time of day, or day of the week, Greg never says no to anything, and has been known for making it in to work during snowstorms when most of us are still sleeping. He turns the impossible into possibilities. He has a drive, desire, and passion for his job. He is a hard-working, loyal, and dependable and is an amazing example to those around him of our core value of integrity – doing the right thing. He is very well respected by his co-workers. Greg’s commitment to Kraus-Anderson and the employee’s, goes beyond excellence and demonstrates the core values of Kraus-Anderson every day.”
