Howard Braaten Receives August 2019 KA Core Value Award
Howard Braaten has received the August 2019 Kraus-Anderson Core Value Award for his leadership and commitment to project excellence.
Congratulations to Howard Braaten, Carpenter Foreman in our Twin Cities office. Tim was nominated by KA’s Chris Knutson & Brian Kobow, whose nomination statement is below.
“We’ve had the pleasure of working with Howard “Howie” Braaten on almost every project since we started our careers at Kraus-Anderson. As we grew within the company, we noticed more of the impact Howie had and still has on our projects – specifically in the Housing Market. These projects are known to have accelerated schedules, limited budgets, and significant Owner expectations. We know Howie truly understands these projects and their required deliverables. Mr. Braaten consistently displays integrity, commitment, and teamwork to subcontractors, his team, and our clients through his honest, fair approach and trustworthiness. No task is too big or small for Howie. Anything from operating heavy equipment to temporary elevators; framing mock-up walls to site safety barricades; and sweeping floors to jobsite supervision and security. Anything the project needs, you can always count on Howie to get it done.
Lastly, Howie exhibits his value for people through his experienced judgment and typical behavior. He’s a great addition to any project team that needs to get a variety of tasks completed in a short time with a great attitude. Beyond experience, skill, and trustworthiness, Howie brings the project team a great level of humor to get through challenging days each project experiences.
