Victor Miller is the winner of the KA Construction Company Safety Mission/Vision Award for July 2015.
Victor is a project superintendent out of the Minneapolis office. He was nominated by Paul Carlsted, project manager in the Minneapolis office. Paul writes:
“I would like to nominate Victor Miller for the Kraus-Anderson Mission Vision Safety award. Vic is our superintendent on the Friendship Village of South Hills project in Pittsburgh, PA for our client Lifespace Communities.Vic has been on site now just over 24 months and we have been accident-free for both work crews and the residents of Friendship Village. This project is unique in that we are working in a senior care environment in the homes, dining areas and general gathering areas of the resident population. Vic has successfully accommodated safe working conditions for residents with walkers, wheel chairs and shuffling feet, all while keeping to our construction schedule. He has done this day after day without any incidents. He has found creative ways to guide residents through vacated elevators, temporary passageways to keep residents lives as undisrupted as possible, considering the amount of construction/remodeling the residents have gone through. Great Job Vic!”
