Tom Michels Receives March 2019 KA Core Value Award
Congratulations to Tom Michels, KA superintendent in our Twin Cities office. Mike was nominated by KA General Superintendent Jeff Schlink, who wrote:
“Tom does a great job with enforcing and preparing our subs on our safety program and he always makes sure everyone on the site is following these polices.
With all the superintendents I work with, he stands out when it comes to safety. An example that really put him at the top is how he has the subs on site before they start their work go over our safety program and other areas of construction. He has subcontractors such as Project Managers, Foremen and Safety Directors attend these meetings and if needed on the higher risk subs, he will invite our safety rep. Being proactive, the subs know what to expect and they can prepare ahead of time so they can have the proper tools and equipment for safety and the job. I know Tom’s jobs are always going to be safe, following Kraus-Anderson policies. ”
