Ebenezer Tower Apartments
Complete renovation of the 23-story apartment tower built in 1970. Work was performed over a 12-month schedule as the building remained fully occupied; with common area improvements including a remodeled lobby, complete modernization to the two existing elevators, addition of second laundry room and renovation of the community room. Other improvements include upgraded electrical systems, new boilers and new water heaters. Sprinklers, a fire protection system and air conditioning were installed. Each of the 192 resident apartments were renovated in varying degrees, custom-designed by Blumentals. Resident unit upgrades included new cabinets and kitchen appliances, new bathroom shower surrounds, new toilet fixtures, new vinyl and carpeting and new electrical. Additionally, 10 units were converted to be ADA compliant.

“Everyone would refer to Jerry (Rasmussen, KA superintendent) as “My Jerry…he and Lyn (Ringold, KA project manager) added a personal touch that we didn’t realize we needed. It was a really important piece and I’m not sure how we could have done it without them.”
