Riverwood Healthcare Center
Kraus-Anderson has been working on various project for the Riverwood Healthcare campus since 2008.
The three-phase, 24,365 s.f. renovation and 48,820 s.f. addition to the existing hospital adds 14 hospital patient rooms with a conversion to 25 single patient rooms. Also included is new labor and delivery, and intensive care units. Other highlights include the addition of five infusion bays for chemotherapy and other medication therapies; and a new support services addition housing medical records, human resources and others, bringing all Riverwood employees in Aikin into one location. There was no interruption to clinic or hospital services during the construction period.
The remodeling phase also includes relocation of some departments such as pharmacy, respiratory therapy, diabetes education and wound care.
