Woodlake Medical Center
Medical office building
In 2008, Kraus-Anderson developed and constructed Woodlake Medical Office Building, a 44,875 s.f., two-story anchored project anchored by Summit Orthopedics. The campus incorporates progressive sustainability features, including high-performance building materials, locally-sourced steel and concrete, recycled content materials for interior finishes and low-VOC materials; as well as a parking lot base with recycled content.
The initial 48,000 s.f. medical facility was developed by KA in partnership with tenant Midwest Eye and Ear Clinic, a physician group. Subsequently, in 2008, KA developed and constructed Woodlake Medical Office Building, a 44,875 s.f., two-story medical office building anchored by Summit Orthopedics and customized to meet the anchor’s specific needs, including an MRI suite and significant sustainable elements. The updated campus features high-performance building materials, locally-sourced steel and concrete, recycled content materials for interior finishes and low-VOC materials; as well as a parking lot base with recycled content. The design retains flexibility for future multiple tenants, such as unified public spaces that can be divided into a traditional lobby and core.
