This LEED Silver, high-performance office headquarters was developed, constructed, and is managed by Kraus-Anderson and provides an award-winning collaborative work environment for approximately 300 employees. At five stories and 100,000 s.f., the facility consolidates what was formerly three office locations into one state of the art downtown office building, part of the mixed use redevelopment, master planned KA Block. KA’s Development and Construction teams worked closely and collaboratively with numerous stakeholders including the City and the historic Elliot Park Neighborhood community to realize the vision for our corporate headquarters. Over 100 employees served on focus committees to research and provide input into building features addressing technology, sustainability, fitness, nutrition, work stations, and more. The open office format is abundant with high-tech amenities including over 30 formal and informal meeting/gathering spaces; standing/sitting work stations; fitness center, training center, patio, coffee bars and the “KAfé.” The Transit-Oriented facility is in close proximity to cycling trails, buses and light rail lines; in addition, two levels of underground parking serve the building and its neighboring amenities on the KA Block, leveraging public parking for additional revenue during non-peak use hours.
