Kraus-Anderson Construction completes four Minot schools damaged in 2011 flood
MINOT, N.D. (January 2014) – Kraus-Anderson Construction
Company (KA), one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general
contractors and construction managers, has completed construction on four
Minot, N.D. schools damaged in the historic June 2011 flood.
Longfellow Elementary School – 42,387-square-foot addition and a 25,641-square-foot
remodel to the existing school was completed July 24, 2013.
Jim Hill Middle School – 14,165 -square-foot precast gymnasium and
locker addition to existing school; was completed August 1, 2013.
Lewis and Clark Elementary School – 32,185-square-foot addition and remodel to
existing school; was completed
August 15, 2013.
Erik Ramstad Middle School – new 130,000-square-foot middle school; was completed November 22, 2013.

in the nation in the construction of K-12 facilities by Building Design and Construction magazine. The company also remains
the top construction manager of education facilities in the region, having
completed over 200 K-12 projects totaling over $700 million in the past five
