Kraus-Anderson hires project managers
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (August 2018) – Kraus-Anderson Construction Company (KA), one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general contractors and construction managers, has hired Eric Pederson and Angela Johnson as project managers. They work in the company’s Minneapolis office.
Eric Pederson, a 25-year industry veteran, previously served as a project manager for D.J. Kranz Co. in Plymouth, Minn. and for Knutson Construction Services, Inc. in Rochester, Minn. He received his B.S. in Construction Management from Moorhead State University and his MBA from Bethel University in St. Paul. Pederson holds a CDT certification and LEED Green Associate accreditation.
Angela Johnson comes to KA having served as project manager for Burnsville, Minn.-based PCL Construction Company and for Affiliated Construction Services, Inc. in Middleton, Wis. She earned her B.S. in Architectural Engineering and Construction Management from Milwaukee School of Engineering.
LEED Green Associates
In addition, Kraus-Anderson’s Brian Johnson, project manager, and Sam Larson, project engineer, have received their LEED Green Associate accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Both work in the company’s Minneapolis office.
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction ad operation of high performance green buildings. The LEED Green Associate credential demonstrates green building expertise in non-technical fields of practice. Kraus-Anderson has dozens of employees who have earned the LEED designation.
