Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders Completed in Duluth
Grand opening set for August 11
DULUTH, Minn. (August 2016) – The Duluth office of Kraus-Anderson Construction Company, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general contractors and construction managers, has completed construction on the Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders. The new three-story building will provide state-of-the-art treatment to children with speech and language disorders.
A grand opening, followed by tours, is scheduled for 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11 at the new site, located at 28 West 2nd St.
The 16,658-square-foot clinic will serve more than 200 children, many of whom are autistic, and will provide the newest, interactive treatment technology and devices.
The Scottish Rite Clinic’s services include hearing and communications assessments, management of language disorders and intensive parent education.
The $4.4 million project, designed by DSGW Architects, will expand its space and provide new technology and methods for diagnosis and therapy. The building includes two autism suites, complete with equipment to engage the autistic population.
