Director, Lean and Process Improvement
Karen is responsible for the development and continuous improvement of KA’s Lean culture to improve operational effectiveness, client experience and strategic market position. In her role as Director, she maps the value stream of our business and construction processes to identify value-adding activities and increase our ability to effectively deliver a quality product to our clients.
With over 20 years of experience in strategic process improvement and transformation in various industries, Karen’s leadership increases our capacity to build relationships and increase projects’ safety, efficiency, productivity and profitability.
Karen holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin – Stout, B.A.S. in Energy Management from Bismarck State College, and an MBA from North Dakota State University. She is also a certified Six-Sigma Black Belt, and holds certifications as a PMI Project Management Professional, AGC CM-Lean, and ASQ Quality Manager, Quality Auditor and Quality Engineer.
