May 12, 2017

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (May 11, 2017) – Kraus-Anderson® Construction Company (KA), one of the nation’s premier commercial general contractors and construction managers, has completed construction on HealthPartners’ new 174,000-square-foot, four-story neuroscience building. The neuroscience center brings together HealthPartners’ nationally recognized programs for stroke, spine care, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, brain and spine tumors and other neurological disorders.

The medical center is the largest free-standing neuroscience facility in the Upper Midwest one of only a few in the country.

Consolidating multiple departments and specialists under one roof enables HealthPartners to care for patients more efficiently. In addition, research and rehabilitation also will be relocated to the new building, integrating these functions and services for the first time.

Located on Phalen Boulevard near I-35E, less than a mile from Regions Hospital in St. Paul, the regional medical office building is dedicated to neurological care, research and rehabilitation, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, and has access to research and clinical trials.

The neuroscience clinic includes administration offices and a 298,000-square-foot parking ramp with 600 stalls. The building was designed to add two future floors and one additional parking level.

Kraus-Anderson has extensive experience in healthcare construction and is currently ranked 12th in the nation by Modern Healthcare.
