Kraus-Anderson begins construction of new fire station in Maplewood, Minn.

MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (July 2021) – Kraus-Anderson (KA) has begun construction on a $9.1 million fire station located at 1530 County Road C East in Maplewood, Minn.

Designed by SEH Architects, the new 38,000-square-foot Maplewood North Fire Station replaces the existing facility with seven apparatus bays, a garage space for five command vehicles and ambulances, and administrative offices. Amenities include a fenced vegetable garden, extensive landscaping, and wellness features and decontamination facilities that will benefit the health of the firefighters.
