Kraus-Anderson completes $10.2 million fire station in northern Maplewood

MAPLEWOOD, Minn. (June 2022) – Kraus-Anderson has completed a new $10.2 million fire station located at 1530 County Road C East in northern Maplewood Minn.  The former fire station was demolished and replaced with a two-story, 34,800-square-foot facility for the City of Maplewood.

Designed by SEH Architects, the new fire station features seven apparatus bays, command parking, gear turnout, eight bunk rooms, decontamination washing areas and SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus) areas.  In addition, the new facility includes EMS storage, administrative offices, a training and community room, conference room, kitchens, laundry, dayroom, showers and patio.
