Dan Schneider Wins Mission Vision Award

Dan Schneider received the Kraus-Anderson Construction Company Mission/Vision Award for March 2016.

Dan is a superintendent in the Minneapolis office. Paul Carlsted, senior project manager in the Minneapolis office, nominated him for his leadership on the Spire Credit Union project in Roseville.

What Did Dan’s Nominator Say?

“I would like to nominate Dan Schneider, Minneapolis superintendent, for the KA Mission/Vision Award for his recent work on the Spire Credit Union project in Roseville.

Dan joined the project late, while finishing another assignment. He followed a well-respected and experienced superintendent, Riley Smith, whom the owner knew and respected. Dan quickly became immersed in the project and its details without hesitation.

Jim Kuchelmeister, facilities manager for Spire, wrote: ‘I just wanted to drop a quick note about Dan and his performance for our new Roseville building. We think he did an outstanding job. His attention to detail, follow-up on questions and overall communication were great. We look forward to working with him on the Woodbury project.’

At the end of the day, Dan was not simply locking up the jobsite to head home. He was often pushing a broom and preparing for the next day’s crews. His work ethic and leadership helped the team deliver the project in four months, through the winter.

Dan represented KA’s core values of integrity, commitment, teamwork and valuing people on the Spire Credit Union project.

Thank you, Dan!”
