TRIA Orthopaedic Center in Woodbury, Minnesota has been named one of the Top Projects of 2017 by Finance & Commerce. The facility is one of 33 projects named by a panel of independent judges for achievements in creativity in design, innovative construction techniques, cooperation among contractors and management, and sustainability efforts.

A Beacon for Orthopedic Care in the East Twin Cities Metro

Located on the northeast corner of Radio Drive and Woodbury Lakes Road in the CityPlace development, the three-story, 85,500 s.f. TRIA Orthopaedic Center offers a full spectrum of sports medicine and orthopedic services in a state of the art outpatient facility including acute injury clinic (AIC), physical therapy, hand therapy, radiology, MRI, and surgery.

One-Stop Shop for Urgent Care, Imaging, Surgery and Therapies

pitching mound Top Projects TRIAThe clinic’s main floor includes café, retail space, orthopedic urgent care and an acute injury clinic with full scope of imaging services.  Second floor provides physical therapy, hydrotherapy, hand therapy and concussion therapy; and includes a retractable turf throwing lane with a pitching mound where recovering athletes can practice throwing, kicking or hitting while therapists monitor movement. Surgery and post-op are on third floor and utilize state of the art air filtration. Three full size operating rooms are equipped with integrated surgical technologies, triple-glazed windows and anti-fatigue lighting.  All surgeries are outpatient.  By offering comprehensive services in one place, TRIA creates a better experience for patients by offering a one-stop-shop for orthopedic needs, driving lower cost and better outcomes.

Designed by RSP Architects, the building’s distinctive exterior features stone and glass consistent with other buildings in the CityPlace development. The architectural highlight “Beacon” creates a first and lasting impression with its dramatic glass enclosure and custom LED lighting system.
