Westwood Elementary School constructed, Zimmerman, MN – first school project to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)

Cub Foods Phalen constructed, St. Paul – One of the first groceries in the nation to achieve LEED Gold certification.

U.S. Land Port of Entry constructed, Warroad, MN — The project became the most honored of Government Services Administration projects named that year, earning recognition for design, construction and sustainability.

Sanford Center constructed, Bemidji, MN- The 193,000 s.f. arena and convention center positions Bemidji for major conferences and national acts, and provides a home for Bemidji State University hockey.

430 Oak Grove opens – 90 years after building the Northwestern National Life Insurance building, Kraus-Anderson returned to purchase and redevelop the four-story building into distinctive apartments. Working with historic tax credit funding, Kraus-Anderson thoughtfully repurposed the Beaux Arts building to honor its heritage and adding modern amenities and comforts to suit today’s needs.

Kraus-Anderson Bike Duluth Festival. KA is founder and title sponsor of this community celebration showcasing the region’s dynamic cycling trails and outdoor activities, with proceeds going to area nonprofits.

Gundersen Health Legacy Building completed. Construction of the 430,000 s.f. facility was completed on the active hospital campus over the course of 36 months. The new facility achieves exemplary sustainability goals including 100 percent energy independence.

Alexandria High School constructed. KA provided prereferendum services as well as construction management services for this LEED Silver, leading edge learning facility serving students grades 9-12.

Watford City High School completed, ND – Constructed by KA to provide modern, flexible, high-tech learning environment in the fastest-growing county in the U.S.

Construction begins on the Hilton Downtown Rochester for longtime client Titan Development. The 20-story hotel is among the first projects under the City of Rochester’s Destination Medical Center (DMC) initiative, one of the largest economic development initiatives in the nation.

TCO Performance Center completed – Constructed by Kraus-Anderson, this world-class headquarters and training facility is home to the Minnesota Vikings.
