Community Involvement

Building Buildings and Building People

We uphold a joyful tradition of “building buildings and building people.” At Kraus-Anderson we remain committed to the communities in which we live and serve.

Giving Back to Our Communities

A Company That Cares

Our annual corporate giving activities include Hearts & Hammers, Bike Duluth Festival (formerly run by KA), the Kraus-Anderson Fall Giving campaign and our Holiday Charitable Giving program, in addition to event sponsorships throughout the communities we live and work in

We also remain longtime members of the Minnesota Keystone Program, giving over 5% of KA’s pretax earnings per year to address community needs

KA Has Heart Program

Employee-driven Teambuilding and Community Service

KA Has Heart provides opportunities for Kraus-Anderson employees to complete volunteer assistance with selected nonprofits during their working hours. Each year KA Has Heart volunteers perform hundreds of hours of service to local nonprofits nominated and selected by our employees. In addition, KA provides dollar and in-kind support to numerous other causes and organizations throughout the year, with a particular focus on organizations serving healthcare and education.

Kraus-Anderson Community Foundation

Building Stronger Communities

The Kraus-Anderson Community Foundation (KACF) was established to support and sponsor events that benefit the communities we live and work in.
