Kraus-Anderson begins OR renovation at Westfield Hospital and Clinic in New Richmond, Wis.

Kraus-Anderson Construction has begun an operating room renovation at Westfield Hospital and Clinic located at 535 Hospital Road in New Richmond, Wis.
Designed by BWBR Architects, the project features a 4,000-square-foot renovation of the hospital’s OR sub-sterile area whereinstruments are quickly sterilized and prepared for immediate reuse during a surgery.
In addition, the project includes the modification of the nurses’ station to provide space for a larger reverse osmosis (RO) system for sterile processing. Reverse osmosis removes contaminants such as lead, bacteria and viruses, prevents mineral build up and corrosion of medical devises, and reduces contamination to prevent post-surgical infection.
Construction is expected to be completed in October 2025.
