Greenfield Elementary School Addition & Renovation
The Greenfield Elementary School Addition & Renovation project involved a 40,000 square foot expansion and upgrade of the existing elementary school in Baldwin, Wisconsin. The scope of work included various improvements to modernize the school's facilities, featuring 22 new classrooms, a new gymnasium, entrance, office space, cafeteria and media center. Prior to construction Kraus-Anderson worked with Baldwin-Woodville Area School District on educational facility planning and capital improvement planning. We participated in a facility study and analysis for updates and expansions to address programming needs of students including improved facility(s) to upgrade inadequate learning spaces, address overcrowding, and enhance safety and security to better support student learning and meet the needs of the community. We recommended cost-effective measures and design elements in the existing and proposed facilities. Kraus-Anderson worked with the School Board, administration, staff, students, and community to develop a plan to best address the space needs of the district. Kraus-Anderson assisted the District in community engagement and the referendum campaign to successfully pass their referendum.
