Shanna Haney, Cole Tobin win the July 2026 Core Value Awards
Shanna Haney, Lead Project Coordinator, has won the July 2026 Core Values Award. KA's Tim Mayer submitted the nomination, which reads:
“I would like to recognize Shanna for her outstanding commitment to supporting KA new hires through our KAmbassador Program. As one of the program’s original KAmbassadors, Shanna has been a dedicated and enthusiastic participant from the very beginning. She recently welcomed her 25th mentee, an incredible milestone that reflects both her generosity and sustained commitment to helping others succeed.
“The feedback we consistently receive from Shanna’s mentees is overwhelmingly positive. Her guidance, support, and willingness to invest in new employees make a meaningful difference in their onboarding experience and help set them up for long-term success at KA. We are grateful for the lasting impact she continues to make through this program.”
Cole Tobin, Project Superintendent, has also won the July 2026 Core Values Award. KA's Nancy Miller submitted the nomination, which reads:
“Cole Tobin has been a great employee to KA over the years and a great team member to work with. Below are a couple of owners that wrote in about Cole. This alone shows what a great asset Cole truly is.

“During my last few years I had the privilege to work with Kraus-Anderson during our $53 million building renovation. During that time, I was able to work closely with Cole Tobin. Cole was an instrumental leader during this project. Cole was always willing to assist and did an amazing job leading that project. He was responsive, knowledgeable and took pride in assuring our project was completed with the highest of standards and also completed on time. Cole Tobin is one of those people that just simply gets things done. He was enthusiastic and went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. In my 33 years in education, Cole ranks up there with the best of the best.
