Kraus-Anderson completes construction at Cumberland High School in Cumberland, Wis

Kraus-Anderson (KA) has completed construction at Cumberland High School located at 1010 8th Ave. in Cumberland, Wis. The major referendum-backed building project follows a $32.95 million bond approved by voters.
Designed by Wold Architects, the 91,600-square-foot project included 43,900 square feet of additions and 47,700 square feet of remodeling. The two-story project features new classrooms, cafeteria, offices, locker rooms and an outdoor learner space, as well as an addition to the expanded commons area. Improvements also included new HVAC and boilers.
The steel used in construction came from the local division of Lejune Steel Company in Barronett, Wis. In addition, several notable construction facts include: 268 tons of steel, 44,450 bricks, 18,000 square feet of ceramic floor and wall tiles, and 3.8 million pounds (1,900 tons) of concrete were used, and 144,000 of working hours were dedicated to the project.
Construction began in April of 2025.
