Committed to inclusion and diversity
We believe diversity strengthens our organization and allows us to serve clients at the highest possible level. We strive to make Kraus-Anderson a place where every person – employee, client, partner, subcontractor, vendor – is valued for the unique skills, abilities and perspectives that they possess.
Kraus-Anderson encourages collaboration with and participation of qualified Diverse Business Enterprises (DBEs) as subcontractors on our projects. It is part our business philosophy, it’s the right thing to do, and is one of the many ways we try to build relationships and advance equity in the diverse communities where we live and work. We partner with small businesses, women-owned, minority-owned, veteran-owned, and other certified diverse businesses to deliver results that are on time and on budget, with safety always top of mind.
Inspiring tomorrow’s leaders
We are passionate about our industry, and committed to inspiring that passion in promising young people. We have commitments with numerous partners focused on exposing youth to opportunities in the construction professions and trades, such as the ACE Mentor Program, corporate work study partnership with Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, Construction Career Pathways and Construct Tomorrow. In addition, our college internship program provides important hands-on, skills-based learning opportunities for university-level students. These partnerships and programs reflect our on-going dedication to providing early, real-world experience and insight to students from all backgrounds.
Recognized for our workforce hiring efforts
Every day, we strive to make the KA workplace a welcoming, safe and rewarding environment for all. Our workforce hiring efforts have been repeatedly recognized by Opportunity Partners, the Metropolitan Economic Development Association (MEDA), the U.S. Department of Defense Employee Support of Guard and Reserve, and numerous public and private sector clients and partners.
