Brandon Kaster and Pat Underwood Win February 2022 Core Values Award
Brandon Kaster and Pat Underwood Win February 2022 Core Values Award.
Brandon is a Superintendent out of the Bismarck office and was nominated by Tucker Norton, Jim Bergren, and Ross Wilmes. The nomination reads:
“Brandon is our superintendent on the NDSU Sugihara Hall project in Fargo, ND. We are currently working through a punch-list and owner move-in on the project and we received a call from Brent Dekrey – Associate Director of Construction and Maintenance. Brent wanted to thank us for the great job that Brandon has been doing not only managing all of our subcontractors on site but also by going “above and beyond” what NDSU is accustomed to seeing on their projects. Brandon has taken a very hands-on approach to help NDSU coordinate their user group move-in to the facility which is something they typically don’t see from their contractors. They are very pleased with Brandon’s honesty, integrity and calm demeanor and are looking forward to working with Brandon and the rest of the KA team on the upcoming Peltier Complex project which will start in the spring.”
Pat Underwood is a Superintendent out of the MAC HHH jobsite and was nominated by Mike Farmer, the nomination reads:
“Please thank Pat Underwood for me! I witnessed Pat helping an elderly passenger yesterday who was unsure of where she had parked at Terminal 1. Pat was able to find out that she parked somewhere in the green parking ramp, in a handicap spot near the door but was unsure of which level. Pat went the extra mile and took her to each level of green ramp until the car was located. Outstanding Pat! If I hadn’t come across them, I know this would have never been known to anyone and I’m pretty certain Pat doesn’t want any extra attention and I would be willing to bet it’s not the first person he has helped around here! But since I knew about it, I wanted to share Pat’s act of kindness and let him know I appreciated it and I’m sure the lady he helped find her car did as well. ”
