Charlie Sweeney, Brock Erickson win the February 2026 Core Value Awards

Charlie Sweeney, Project Manager 1, and Brock Erickson, Preconstruction Services Manager, collectively won the February 2026 Core Values Award for their work with local schools. Kelsey Vaszily submitted the nomination, which reads:

“Brock and Charlie are jointly leading an effort to strengthen Kraus-Anderson’s connection to local communities by engaging with area school districts and Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs. In response to ongoing staffing shortages in our industry, they have partnered to reach out to CTE teachers and offer classroom presentations highlighting careers in construction and the skilled trades.

“They have presented at Byron Public Schools and Pine Island Public Schools, with a planned visit to Plainview-Elgin-Millville Schools in January, and are committed to continuing this outreach once per quarter through 2026. This consistent effort has the potential to directly influence students in our region to consider careers in construction and the trades.

“Through this proactive, team-driven initiative, Brock and Charlie are living Kraus-Anderson’s Core Values.”
