Karen Melander Wins Mission Vision Award

Karen Melander is the winner of the Kraus-Anderson Construction Company Mission/Vision Award for May 2016.

Karen is a project accountant  in the Circle Pines office. She was nominated by Gary Zifko, senior project manager, in the Circle Pines office. His nomination reads:

“I nominate Karen Melander, project accountant in the Circle Pines office. Karen is first off, great to work with. Karen is a always professional when dealing with our clients as well as the contractors. She is often the first point of contact when dealing with sometimes difficult billing or payment issues and she always conducts herself with integrity and is respectful when doing so. She understands the CMa process and our CMr requirements and works easily between the two. Our clients appreciate her knowledge and professionalism.  She keeps her projects running smoothly. She is always aware of the issues a project may have and helps to resolve and keep the process moving. I appreciate all she does to help make my projects and KA run efficiently.”
