Kelly McCollins, Josh Knoch win the August 2025 Core Value Awards

Kelly McCollins, a marketing information services coordinator from the Twin Cities office, won the August 2025 Core Values Award. Kraus-Anderson's Christy Fletcher submitted the nomination. It reads:

“It is with great enthusiasm that I am nominating Kelly McCollins for a Core Values Award for Commitment. Since her first days at KA, she has consistently exemplified our company’s Core Values in each interaction I have had with her. When I see her name included on an activity or project I will be working on, I look forward to her contributions.

“Kelly approaches each day with a positive outlook and a strong sense of purpose. Though we are in different departments, Kelly and I have been able to partner in coordinating a variety of events.  Each time we work together, she has demonstrated excitement for the task at hand and been incredibly prepared. She is efficient, detail-oriented, and is never above pitching in. Kelly’s initiative is unmatched; she sees what needs to be done and takes action without being asked.

“Beyond her technical skills, Kelly is approachable and easy to talk to. She fosters collaboration, builds trust with her peers, and represents our company with professionalism and grace.

“Though I chose Commitment for this award, Kelly could just have easily been nominated for any of the other Core Values. Kelly lives out our core values daily, not just in what she does, but in how she does it.”

Josh Knoch, a project superintendent from the Twin Cities office, also won the August 2025 Core Values Award. Kraus-Anderson's Aaron Zabel submitted the nomination. It reads:

“I am nominating Josh for consistently demonstrating Kraus-Anderson’s core values through his exceptional commitment, professionalism, and teamwork.

“Josh was added to [his current project] project midstream, stepping into an already challenging schedule with complex demands and has become an invaluable asset to the team. He has gone above and beyond his standard job duties to ensure KA is represented with excellence in the eyes of both the client and our trade partners.

“The client on this project has a high bar for quality and presentation. Josh not only met that standard—he exceeded it. Recently, the design group shared unsolicited feedback that the units Josh prepared were the best they had ever seen, noting they had to look hard to find anything worth marking. This level of attention to detail reflects Josh’s personal accountability and pride in his work.

“Additionally, Josh has managed significant product delivery issues that put pressure on our timeline. He approached each obstacle with a proactive mindset, calmly working through challenges while maintaining a positive and solutions-oriented attitude. His efforts have helped maintain our schedule, uphold our reputation, and strengthen trust with the client.

“Josh embodies the spirit of our core values by demonstrating integrity, excellence, and collaboration. His contributions have made a meaningful impact on this project and the overall success of our team.”
