Kraus-Anderson has completed construction for the Red Rock Central School District on a new PK-12 school located at 100 6th Ave. East in Lamberton, Minn. Kraus-Anderson worked closely with the district to pass a $41 million bond referendum in November 2021 to fund the new school.

Designed by MLA Architects, the $43.7 million, 130,000-square foot school features a new gym, fitness center, and weight room, auditorium and stage, and art and science labs. The school also includes new CTE spaces, a commons area, Special Ed spaces, and a storm shelter.

Construction began in February of 2023. The new school opened its doors to students over MEA break, October 17-18.

“I would like to give a special thank you to the builders, architects, and everyone who brought this project to life,” said Todd Lee, district superintendent. “Your hard work, creativity, and craftsmanship have transformed an idea into reality. You’ve given us more than just a building; you’ve given us a place where learning and community can flourish.”
