Shane Forsman Wins February 2023 Core Values Award

Shane Forsman, a lead project superintendent from the Minneapolis office, won the February 2023 Core Values Award. Al Gerhardt, on behalf of Ann Sponberg Peterson, submitted the nomination. It reads:

“I write from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport where the Gustavus Choir is waiting to fly to Paris and then to Barcelona. I received word from Delta that an oversized piece of baggage was delaying check-in for the other Gustie musicians because the case — for the Double Bass— could not be opened. I caught up with TSA at oversized baggage and a security team was looking at the locked case. One problem: the student had already passed through and was at the gate. We could not reach her to come back to unlock the case. Enter Shane Forsman of Kraus-Anderson, superintendent at MSP. He said, “If you are authorized, we can get that open for you.” The case needed a special wrench. They got the case opened, security checked it, pushed it through, and the rest of the Gusties could check in and leave for Paris and Barcelona. Yay!! Shane is a real star and truly went above and beyond!!”
