As President of Kraus-Anderson Insurance, Jon Diessner oversees the agency's strategic planning and overall leadership of Minnesota's largest privately held insurance agency. Jon embraces strategic initiatives in technology, intellectual capital, branding and marketing innovations; and development of training and professional development programs, which promote talent retention and further distinguish the agency's expertise. As a third generation member of the family-owned, diversified Kraus-Anderson enterprise, Jon is committed to KA's collective success and legacy. He joined Kraus-Anderson in 2009 in property management with KA Realty before moving to the insurance agency in 2011 as a property & casualty producer. After building a book of business, he advanced into managerial leadership, serving as executive vice president in 2020 and succeeding his father, Dennis Diessner, as chief operating office in January 2024. Under his leadership, the agency has delivered consecutive record sales years, expanded its team through targeted strategic additions, and continued to strengthen long-standing client relationships, many spanning more than 40 years. Jon also serves on the board of directors of Kraus-Anderson Companies. He earned his B.A. in Finance from University of Colorado at Boulder, Leeds School of Business, and was named the 2018 Young Agent of the Year by the Minnesota Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers Association (MIIAB).
