Kevin Bright, KA's Sustainability Manager, is responsible for continuing to develop Kraus-Anderson's sustainability program and strategy to meet the needs of both KA and external clients. He leads the implementation of sustainability-related strategies to ensure that projects and practices result in the highest levels of performance feasible. Kevin's previous experience includes working for the Destination Medical Center Economic Development Agency and the City of Rochester to ensure the DMC development project reaches carbon neutrality by 2050. He's also promoted energy efficiency for Colby College and Harvard University, supporting sustainability efforts for higher education programs and construction projects. Kevin also focuses on sustainability and energy education. For a period of six years, Kevin volunteered and chaired the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) Energy and Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group. In Minnesota, Kevin chaired the United States Green Building Councilís Minnesota Chapter meant to proliferate green building and sustainability practices. Kevin has also taught as a faculty member at Boston Architectural College, an instructor at Middlesex Community College for LEED Credential Test Preparation courses, held Guest Lecturer positions at Harvardís Extension School, taught green building courses at Colby College and has made many presentations at national Green Building and sustainable operations conferences. Kevin holds a Master of Arts in Energy and Environmental Analysis from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College in Environmental Geology.
