Sydney Diekmann serves as the National Director of Healthcare for Kraus-Anderson, where her primary responsibilities include aligning healthcare market strategy, business development, and client/owner engagement across KA’s geographic sectors. Sydney brings extensive experience in front-end strategy consulting for major facility projects and capital investments, ensuring that facilities are positioned to serve the needs of their communities, their strategic business objectives, and financial realities. Sydney is a trusted advisor to health systems and executive leadership teams nationwide, with a proven track record of developing the supporting framework for multimillion-dollar facility investments and strategic growth initiatives. Prior to joining Kraus-Anderson, Sydney held managerial roles at Wipfli Advisory LLC, where she specialized in data-driven facility and capital planning for urban and rural healthcare organizations. In this role, she partnered directly with healthcare executives, facility teams, and Boards of Directors to develop and execute long-ranging facility strategies. Her work focused on helping healthcare organizations make informed decisions regarding facility investments, expansion opportunities, service-line growth opportunities, and capital deployment. A Minnesota native, Sydney holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Outside of work, she can often be found exploring the great outdoors, whether camping, backpacking, or rock climbing. She enjoys traveling and frequenting local breweries throughout Minnesota and beyond.
