February 17, 2022
Minneapolis-based Kraus-Anderson Construction recently promoted longtime employees Pat Mulcahey and Jason Peterson to new positions with the company.
Mulcahey is onboard as director of operations and Peterson takes the reins as director of project planning and development, Kraus-Anderson said, adding that both work in the firm’s Minneapolis office.
In his new role, Mulcahey will provide oversight of the “preconstruction, construction and post construction phases” in company’s education, airport, government and special project market sectors, Kraus-Anderson said.
Mulcahey, who joined Kraus-Anderson in 2001, most recently worked as construction executive for the K-12 Education Construction Group. In that position, he worked on more than 138 projects totaling over $1.5 billion in value.
Mulcahey earned a B.S. in Construction Management from the University of Minnesota and LEED certification. He is a member of the Minnesota Association of School Maintenance Supervisors and serves on the University of Minnesota Construction Management Advisory Committee.
Peterson joined Kraus-Anderson in 2003 and most recently served as a senior project manager. His company experience features “numerous education projects for the University of Minnesota” and a wide variety of school districts, Kraus-Anderson said.
Peterson graduated from Dunwoody College of Technology and is a member of the Minnesota Administrators for Special Education (MASE), Minnesota Association of School Administrators, Minnesota Construction Association (MCA) and Minnesota Rural Education Association (MREA).
In addition, Kraus-Anderson promoted Shane Butler and Robert Janssen to construction executive status. Jacob Boerboon, Robert Janssen, Ryan Klick, Al Lillesve and
