Kraus-Anderson (KA) has begun construction on three Mankato elementary schools. The projects are part of a $105 million building bond passed by Mankato Area School District voters in November 2023.

The architect for the projects is ISG. Construction is expected to be completed in the fall of 2024.

Roosevelt Elementary – 300 W. 6th St.

The $4 million project features an 8,132-square-foot addition to the front entry that expands the administrative offices, two new classrooms that will also serve as storm shelters, a new trash enclosure in the parking lot, and the renovation of four bathrooms.

Washington Elementary – 1100 Anderson Dr.

The $1.68 million project includes a 4,262-square-foot addition with a new security vestibule; mechanical, engineering, and plumbing improvements; and updates to the front office spaces.

Bridges Elementary – 320 Garfield Ave.

The $1.14 million project includes a 2,373-square-foot addition with a new security vestibule; mechanical, engineering, and plumbing improvements; and updates to the front office spaces.

KA’s comprehensive school construction services include facility analysis and budget approaches, leading to informed and successful referendum initiatives.
