Kraus-Anderson begins construction on Grantsburg, Wis. schools

Kraus-Anderson has begun renovations and additions for the Grantsburg School District in Grantsburg, Wis. The projects will be designed by DSGW Architects.

Grantsburg Elementary

The 26,000-square-foot addition replaces the closed Nelson Elementary School by adding 13 new classrooms and a gym. The $14.79 million project also includes a 34,000-square-foot renovation for Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms, art/music classrooms, restrooms, a kitchen, a cafeteria, and a safe and improved bus drop-off area.

Grantsburg High School

The 10,000-square-foot additions feature a new safe and secure entrance and an iForward office. The $9.86 million project also includes a 10,000-square-foot renovation for the cafeteria/commons area, public restrooms, concessions, a new team/flex classroom, and also improves the site’s traffic flow, parking, and water drainage.

Grantsburg Middle School

The project will revamp the parent drop-off area and parking to improve traffic flow.

The construction projects continue to be on time, within budget, and slated to be completed by the fall of 2024.”
