Kraus-Anderson begins renovation of Scott County Government and Justice Center

SHAKOPEE, Minn. (January 2021) – Kraus-Anderson has begun an extensive $13.7 million remodel of the Scott County Government and Justice Center located at 200 Fourth St. in Shakopee, Minn.
Designed by Wold Architects and Engineers, the four-story, 110,000-square-foot Government Center Building will feature renovations to staff space, customer service areas, as well as public waiting areas. The three-story, 82,000-square-foot Justice Center will consist of two new courtrooms, expanded jury assembly space, along with addition holding cells in the lower level of the Government Center Building.
The projects also will include new roofing and fire sprinkler systems and will update the mechanical system to chilled beam ventilation in the Government Center.
