Kraus-Anderson completes construction of microSource’s new production building in Shakopee

SHAKOPEE, Minn. (January 2020) – Kraus-Anderson has completed construction of a 14,000-square-foot production building for microSource, the leading private-label manufacturer of plant nutrient products in the United States.
Designed by Mohagen Hansen Architectural Group, the new Shakopee facility is microSource’s latest manufacturing building, which features a new loading bay and tank storage.
Owned by Gavilon Agriculture Holdings company, microSource, LLC is a leading wholesale manufacturer of private label nutritional starters, nitrogen stabilizers, and liquid and dry micronutrients in North America.
From its Shakopee supercenter at 7632 County Road 101, the company services domestic and international accounts of crop nutrition products by bulk rail, bulk tank truck, containers and packaged vanload quantities. Its in-house capabilities include R&D, custom manufacturing and logistic services.
Kraus-Anderson’s previous work for microSource includes a 43,000-square-foot fertilizer warehouse building completed in 2016 and a 39,000-square-foot addition to a production facility completed in 2014.
